am i supposed to get the LT and ST trims while at idle? is there a set range for "normal" ?

Yes there should be a LTFT and STFT at idle. The values depends onthe set up you are running, you just don't want to max out teh values one way or another, between +/-10-15% should be a good range to stay in , max is +/-25%.
