thank you, whats IAC, and where would the vaccuum leak be? i first noticed the high idle(wich i do have when slowing down, but it returns to normal when i stop) when i was on the drag track and i puked the alternator belt when i went into 1st gear instead of 3rd gear, my timing belt also was off timing and i needed a new belt. so could anyof this caused it? thanks.

The IAC is a sensor motor on the back of the throttle body. It is the intake air controller. If you look on the back of the throttle body(towards the firewall), you'll see a small black box w/two torx screws w/wires coming off it. Thats the IAC.
A vacuum leak can be anywhere. My car his a high idle becuase i just got a new throttle body and it doesnt seal well. First listen for air leaks. If not, then youll have to look for ccracked hoses/bad gaskets, etc.
Someone else could answer the timing problem better than me.
Good Luck
