So you would use this in conjunction with the UDP? It would allow the alternator to spin at its correct revolutions due to the fact that its oversize counteracts the UDP's size? If that is the case then the only significance would be a weight savings? curious here...

weight savings less rotational mass and it makes the alternator spin back to normal speed or clsoe to it so u dont loose the power from udner spining the alternator

stock is about 9.7 oz mine is 1.9 oz. I only have them
amodized in silver.

Something I am concidering trying. The weight savings would be nice. And the alternator adds resistance to get to the right current draw anyway, so I think weight may be more of a significant factor than speed.
