you have to remember this ( i run a pacesetter, so im speaking from experience) that the pacesetter muffler and pipes are set up for an offset muffler.... now after knowing that, if you put any type of striaght thru muffler, or non-offset muffler, it will have to be angled.
i run a 5zigen fireball straight-thru muffler on my pacesetter pipes(it is angled), but right after the install, i took her for a spin, and she sounded like a honduh, very raspy.... so i went to the auto store, and spent 25 bux on a better resonator, had it welded into the piping (where the pacesetter resonator was), and she sounds like a champ now
basically do what you want... remember tho w/the gst muff, the inlet to it is only 2.25, and your pipes are 2.5, so you will be "restricting" the exhaust flow slightly if you go that route..
