I know most people use the S-AFC....but does anyone use one of these. I just got one recently and it didn't come with instructions. The wires are labeled, but there are a ton of dip-switches on the back. Most of the search hits I find on installing it are in Japaneese. ANY help with installing this thing up would be appreciated.
Thanks

If you want to send me the Japanese directions, or the Japanese links, then I can translate them for you, if they aren't too long! Let me know, Chris b.

I got mine off ebay. I've seen a couple of places selling them for anywhere between $250-$300. Thanks for the link, but I have the Hyper-R which is a little different.
It's very similar to the SFC-VTEC controller they make, except it doesn't do VTEC/MIVEC....BUT it does have an o2 monitor, 0-100kmh time, et/trap speed meter for 100m, 200m, and 400m runs(like a gtech/gtach?). I'm pretty sure I've figured out which wires need to go where. Does anyone know someone a Honda owner with the SFC-VTEC? There are a set of dipswitches that are common between the two products. Thanks.

HAHAHA!! Engrish...thats some funny shit man. Yeah, most of the Field documentation is like that. Alot of the stuff I find is just strictly in Japaneese and I've been using a translator(http://babelfish.altavista.com/) to convert from Japaneese to English. Talk about funky translations. All I know is that 'burning pitch' means a/f ratio.
Anyway, a small update on my search for knowledge here. I was mistaken about the SFC-VTEC commonality - it is actually quite different from the Hyper-R. There was a Hyper(without the -R) version, I guess it was the early model cause it doesn't have a tach, o2 monitor, or any of the drag et/speed stuff....or a -R. They Hyper only has one bank of 8 dipswitches, whereas the Hyper-R has one bank of 8 dipswitches and one bank of 4 dipswitches. I found some online documentation for the Hyper. The 8 switch bank settings might be the same as the Hyper-R, but I really don't know. I also still need to find out what the other bank of 4 dipswitches on the Hyper-R do.
