As stated above, im picking up a motor this weekend. I found a full 2.4 motor for only $125. Lucky me!!! Anyways, I lost the link to a writeup someone did on the swap. Im going to rebuild it with either 10.6 or 11.6 comp pistons and do the howll top-end kit. Im not sure which cam grind to get and what oil pan I can use. If some has any ideas, please help me out. TIA.

Man I wish I could run across a deal like that. Good luck with the swap. Hopefully, i'll be able to undertake similar actions this winter. BTW, I'll be rooting for UCONN to upset Miami this weekend. I doubt it will happen, But I'll be hoping for anything bad to happen to the teams ranked above my beloved DUCKS!!!

I thought that the 2.4 wont fit since our crossmember is in the way. And i was thinking the 18's, but was wondering what the streetability would be like with them. And yeah, Uconn better kick some ass this weekend.

You will have to make it fit by cutting a part of it and welding it back with some filling
Try to get the steel oil pan, some years had a casted aluminium oil pan

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
