i've looked everywhere for this info before i posted this guys. now, does howell make a 2.4l kit? i've seen their site, they only have the 2.2l. how would i go about it if they don't or won't custom make one? also, i saw somewhere about a 3.0L aluminum block...this possible? thanks. and no, i don't have a car...yet. but when i get my settlement, it's gonna be a beast!}>

The 2.2L is a troker kit for our motor, the cut and reweld the crank, overbore cylinders .020" to increase displacement to 2.2L. You can't get to 2.4L on our block.

The 2.4L is the Chrysler motor put into minivans, PT cruiser, and a few others. WIth some modification it should fit and workin our car with ur head.

The 3.0L aluminum race block should be in the works.

the 3.0 block is being built and developed by Howell Automotive, the same company that does the Stroker kit.

AFX manufacturing for the aluminum 3L racing block with cross bolted bottom... that was a pretty recent post so it should still be in the general2gnt section

i just stopped by the message board on howell's ite and only 1 guy is interested in the 3.0L aluminum block so far. they need at least 10 people i believe. Or else it will cost $18K to manufactue such a block for 1 person. so many buyers are a must. go check it out.
