#2446, "ok, exhaust, done.......whats next????"

i've done gs-t muffler mod, now what, where should i go from here. some of my friends said to port and polish, buy new headers. <-- which i really don't want to do, because i'm planning on doing a motor swap in the future.

any ideas on where to go??

i was thinking of taking a break form performance, and move to appearance. mabey save up for my paint job and body kit, wheels, wing, altezzas???, head lamp conv., el glo gauges, a better sound system, racing seats, ect.

so where should i go??

lol klips ..no port and polish ! unless u are a die hard .. you are going to run into problems ... u must know exactly what kind of fuel delivery to have and such ... just get a turbo .. nuff said .. it will make u smile .. honestly only port and polish after you get a turbo .. for the amount of money you will spend on the polish the hp gains will be minimal ... get the turbo and if you still arent satisfied than bore her out and port the exaust and intake mani's and than polish ...and if you still arent happy ...sell it and get a 1972 pontaic GTO !! ( thats what i would do )

Let me know who can do it and give me a price quote. I might be nutz enough to be interested in such a conversion. Thanks.

I would be extremely surprised if you could fit the Twin Turbo V-6 in our engine bay. If I remember right the motor in the VR-4 is mounted the other way. You would need everythign new wiring harnass ECU and others along with a lot of fabrication.

Back to eclipticrider's question. If you don't have a Cold Air Intake, start there. Then go for the AFX UDP. those are your next steps.

VR4 swap? Hmmm.

Nope. Not going to happen. Even if it could happen, bad idea. In order to do a swap like this, you first need to strip you car down to nothing. Every last mechanical piece gone. Tranny, engine, electronics, suspension. Ok, now that you have a bare shell, continue to hack up your frame to fit it. Also hack up your rear end to fit the tranny. Now rebuild your suspension so this stuff even fits and can handle the weight. You have now spent more money than what a VR-4 would cost and it drives like shit and is heavy. If you really want to do something so radical to amuse yourself, mate a chevy rear end to a 420A turned sideways and have rwd or something like that like Buscher has done.
