You need to change to the Neon A670 it is a much stronger transmission, and will bolt right up to the engine. Start location is moved to the front so that cause problems with exhaust.

wierd, no offense or anything but what would be the advantage of buying another automatic tranny unless you really want auto, you could buy a stick tranny for prob just as much IF not less then the neon motor right? just a thought

The autos are faster with a turbo, and when build can hold 800 to 1000 hp, the manuals can't even think about that. Once you get the car into the 13's, from there down the auto is a better choice. You never have to lift to shift, the turbo never spools down. Even the allmotor applications are looking to autos.
