High Performance Automatic Transmission Rebuild Kits. This kits feature Red Eagle® clutches which withstand higher temperatures than any other clutch available and Kolene® steel plates which are higher in heat resistants and offer increased lubricity. Kolene® provides a surface treatment that enhances wear and fatigue resistance from 200% to 500%. Kit includes clutches, steels, all soft seals, a band, and bushings. Kit fits A404, A413, A470, & A670 transmissions. Kit also includes extra clutches and steels for those wishing to upgrade to larger drums to further increase clamping force and power transmission.

You need to change to the Neon A670 it is a much stronger transmission, and will bolt right up to the engine. Start location is moved to the front so that cause problems with exhaust.

wierd, no offense or anything but what would be the advantage of buying another automatic tranny unless you really want auto, you could buy a stick tranny for prob just as much IF not less then the neon motor right? just a thought

The autos are faster with a turbo, and when build can hold 800 to 1000 hp, the manuals can't even think about that. Once you get the car into the 13's, from there down the auto is a better choice. You never have to lift to shift, the turbo never spools down. Even the allmotor applications are looking to autos.

gary, i have a auto stock tranny in my car now.. would this setup of yours work for me? any mods i got to go? or who and what part # would i need to have a killer auto tranny? i also drive this on the street for daily use and also race people once in a while... thanks
