Are there any stroker kits for our 420A's? I read on another weboard that there is someone developing one, but I can't remember who exactly.

i believe crower had one for sale when i was looking, you can check it out at : http://www.crower.com/

Just keep in mind, they aren't giving those kits away, it think they went for alittle over 4000 $. And u also loose the ability to
efficiently rev above 7,000 rpm.

The Crower stroker kit your talking about is only for the DSM 4G63, not our motor which is the 420a. Any equipment for ours is under the Chrysler heading, the Neon. They say one is coming soon for ours, but Crower's stuff is always real expensive. Spend $4000 on a stage III turbo kit instead of a few more cc's.

Howell's kit is available. The price is $1600 (if memory serves) give you a bump in displacement to about 2.1-2.2L. I don't see a problem with reving above 7k as long as the valvetrain is built.

He did it, built it, and offered it up.. nobody wanted to pay for it. Howell has one now, though

What is the displacement on skrillas stroker? how much? Is he still offering it?

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

I think he used the money he stole from everybody on those front lower tie bars to cover his losses. I saw him post on supraforums recently.

lol! I love how several hundred dollars becomes several thousand dollars, or how I've dumped 25K into my car, it's just hilarious. If those were true I would be the fastest car on the board and the street!

I haven't been around because of the Hybris Virus, computer's been down. Anyway about the stroker, it made 2.3L's of displacement and could have made 8500rpms, all day. The motor can handle whatever you throw at it including 800hp with fully built custom internals, balanced rotating assembly and nitrided offset rewelded factory crankshaft. The surface treatment protects against external damage(such as the infamous spun rod bearing syndrome). With the help of South Florida Crank Specialist (CNNP's crank guy) it became a reality. The kit was $2200 and in NA form it outran my car before my swap (and it was no slouch then either). Anyway only one was made and it resides in an Eclipse. People talk but put their foot in their mouth when it was finished and ready to order.

You would have probably sold some if you did a better job of being a business man. People talk and walk because it would have been difficult to give you thousands if we could not even deal with hundreds of dollars. I was actually completely up for doing a stroker at the time. In fact I probably still will if I A)blow my motor or B)Run out of other things to do. I had/have the money and could pretty much do what I want when I feel like it. I sent you an email but still have not received a response. Thanks.

Like I said before. It is not about the money. I just hate getting lied to.

To everyone else: I apologize for getting off topic and ranting so let us again not get into this discussion here. It if for elsewhere. Stick to the topic at hand which is stroker kits.

WHAT! I had full trust in Skrilla! If I had 2K a year ago I would have a 2.3L Eclipse by now. I have been trying to catch you for a while skrilla.

I'm working on a throttle body set-up right now. After I get that done and have some spare cash I'm ordering Skrilla's Stroker kit. I think it's worth every penny!

...cool and completely understandable about the money thing Super, but Chris no one was lying to you. As far as email is concerned like I said my computer was down until a couple days ago so I haven't talked to anyone. As far as being a business man, well, I am good, if everytime ONE thing happened to every business in the world then everybody wouldn't buy a thing and there wouldn't be ANY business. I've sold and bought several things on/from this board before anything happened and all positive. If you sent me mail you will get responded to. BTW I sold 2 engines back when I assembled the stroker, I never installed it into my car but another Eclipse because I always the 2.4L. The money from selling the stroker I used to fund what's currently in my car. If people decide not to buy from me then that's cool no sweat off my back, they'll just be the ones missing out

Skrilla, Could we get 2.5L out of your stroker? Whats the Rod ratio? Would we have to worry about the rod rubbing against the bottom of the cylinder?

No to go any bigger than 2.3L realiably requires the 2.4L block. The rod ratio on the 2.4L is too horrible to be good for high revving If you don't plan on anything above 7500 the the 2.4 is fine otherwise howell has a great compromise. At 95mm a well built engine can take 9000rpms all day without skirt scraping.
