Yeah that's where mine is, except I mounted it at an angle so you can get to the stage settings(in case I decide to use them). I just mounted my tach adapters inder the bumper. There is a piece of sheet metal that sticks down, next to the horn, with holes already in it. Two of then happened to be perfectly spaced to mount the tach adapters, one on each side. I have pictures, but I need to finish the roll of film first.
But with a turbo kit above stage one this won't work, that's were the intercooler piping runs. If you don't have cruise control, possibly on the firewall on the passenger side, or if you've relocated the battery to the trunk, that spot would work. Otherwise, you are left with inside the car.
