Hmmm...Let me think.... Have I seen a Neon engine bay... have I driven one... Oh wait I own a 95 Neon Sport with the 420A DOHC.
Stan pretty much summed it up, but 95 is the only model yeah with a slightly more agressive cam, they softened it in 96, and sell the 95 ground cams as a Mopar Performance item, goor for 5 hp or so. The ECU can actually take advantage of the higher octane unlike our ECU which doesn't do anything with it. The other thing I think that helps the Neon, is the DOHC exhaust actually flows pretty good, I think better than ours.
