I'm wondering, if I swap my bottom end for the 2.4L 420A...
would I be able to use the HRC Stage 5 with a high boost level (like 13+ psi)...
Does that have good stock internals?
Could it handle it?
Is it a good swap to start off with?
Has anyone done a write up on the swap?

I highly doubt any stock bottom end could handle an HRC stage V.

well it wont handle 13 psi and anyways 13 psi will only put you at stg 3 not stg 5.

if you run the mexican 95-99 stratus r/t 2.4L internals, youll be able to run more boost than the US-spec internals. the 95-99 mexican stratus r/t had the 2.4L and was turbo from the factory, and the rods and pistons are much "beefier" than our stockers.

i dont know how much boost is safe on them, have to ask at the neon boards where more people do that swap, but they will take more punishment than the US-spec NA internals.

unless it is a factory turbocharged 2.4l motor, those pistons are no stronger than ours. no, you can't run 13+ psi on stock internals with a 20G without breaking something.

Yeah those Mexican internals aren't that good at all.
