I know that there is a bend in the gsx piping at the rear axle that will not allow us to use it. I was wondering, though, is the piping the same size? If it is then we could just weld on the muffler, correct?

well i know for sure stock to stock it will not fit. i got the greddy power extreme made for an X and i had a muff shop install it. it has 3 inch piping and they fit it onto my stock piping. so i dont see y they couldnt for you. you should have no prob having a muff shop install that. l8r

its the exact same muffler that is on the gs-t its just the piping has different bends to clear the rear axle... just cut it and re-weild to the stock piping.. its the same size inlet and should line right up.

yeah it bolts up no prob...just make sure u weld the stock pipe back up to it right or the flange won't match up. and use a gasket so there are no leaks.
