If i get 55mm bored TB, do i need to have the intake manifold bored out as well...Howell has a bored TB for 100.00 with core, but no mention of intake.

Depends on whether they port the throttle body exit along with the entrance. If they do port the exit and it doesn't match the intake manifold plenum...then you might want to match them. I bet that would be easy if you could pull off the upper manifold (not sure how hard that is).

...The opening on the intake manifold is already 55mm, and the gasket is very close(I had to trim my gasket when I installed my TB) But the manifold side doesn't need any mods to install the TB. Quick bolt on.
