#137072, ".060 Overbore"
Jul-10-12 07:32 AM by Wes Tank

Anyone ever gone 60 over? My block is already 40 over and it needs to be cleaned up to 60 since there is no 50 option for our motors. Otherwise I'm also trying to source another block soon.

Thanks.

You mean .060 over? Because .0060 is sixty ten thousandths and not really a valid over bore spec.

Don't buy a new block. Just sleeve it. http://www.bensonsmachine.com/ I think .060 over is too thin for boost in my opinion.

Double check all your coolant and oil lines....., before you take off and see a cloud of smoke behind you!

If you do decide to sleeve it. I just talked to Dan Benson and he said for $1,200 he will sleeve it to make it bulletproof... Can you say 1,000 hp? emoji
