Huh? Do you plan on JB welding the socket onto the sender?
Try vice grips up there. I know it's yucky tight. but put them on (with the teeth in the proper direction). If you can get a hammer in there, you may be able to use a little impact action on the vice grips.
I'm wondering if the prior owner installed the sensor with JB weld in the first place........Captain Caveman
