#124255, "what to do?"

I know this has been answered before somewhere (couldn't find it) and I'm just looking to get confirmation on what I think. I need to change my headgasket since my coolant looks just like motor oil. The car has 193k+ miles on it and figured I'd change the clutch as well since I've had a new one sitting around for over a year now. The question is, would it make my life alot easier to just pull the motor to do everything? I figured that would be easier than dealing with the t-belt and hg with the motor in and having to pull axles(still original ones on the car) and dropping the tranny.

Thanks

with all you need to do I'd drop the engine and take care of everything on a stand. timing is infinitely easier to do with everything out of the car

Agreed. If you can do it and have the tools and stand--you'll be better off. Hit all the other odds and ends while you have it out. A good cleaning wouldn't hurt at that point.

95 Avenger 2.0 - Hahn 16g, DMS 8 injector setup, UDP, Big FMIC, HKS SSQV, MSD Coil & Wires,
ZEX Nitrous System, QTP Cut Out, Mandrel 2.5" Exhaust with cat delete, MP 60mm TB...and tons of Carbon Fiber
