Hey guys I have a question for you again. When I bought my car this weekend I drove it home about 100 miles with no issues. The first time that I started the car up after that drive I got a cel. I went to autozone; front o2 sensor, so he cleared the code at the store and I went home and fixed it. Great, drove to Cleveland, no problems, the next day I go out and get in the car, cel again, have it checked same thing (front o2 sensor), but he didn't clear it this time. So I go home disconnect the battery while I put in my cd player, start up the car, no cel, it just went away, didn't come back all that day or the next. But today I go out and start the car and guess what CEL!!! I haven't had it checked yet but my money is on the stupid o2 sensor, what could possibly be causing this? The o2 sensor that I bought was a bosch from autozone which I had to connect to the old sensor. I could tell that it had already been done once on that plug, so I cut it like 10 inches away from the plug (the previous splice was about 3 inches from the plug). I just connected the same colors that were on it, black to black, gray to gray, and then both of the whites. Now I was under the impression that it didn't matter which way the white wires were connected? If anybody has any ideas as to what is going on here I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, Travis
