#114215, "stalling..."

so just the other day my car starts stalling while coming to stops.. then it starts sputtering and stalling while driving... sound like an idle air control valve???

1995 eclipse rs-t. Might as well be a ford because I have to fix or repair daily...

Sounds like it!

Pull the sensor and ohm it out to see how it does.

Double check in the wiki or in the Haynes, but 53 ohms (ish) is where it should be IIRC emoji

pretty sure that is the problem as well, at least that is what mine was doing and I just replaced it. I read that you can test the IAC by pulling it off and while still connect turn the car to the on position and it should do whatever it does.. But when I did this, i litteraly put a whole in my garage wall.needless to say, i had to replace it because the threading was stripped out since the piece was in impaled into my wall. Thank god no one was holding onto it. I have only done that once so I am not sure if that is one of the offical ways to test it.
