How many of you guys/gals have or had squeaking problems with the belts that came with the pulley? If you changed the belts, which "BRAND" (and part #s if possible) did you end up getting?
I will be installing mine in couple days and want to be prepared. Thanks a lot.

2 days after I got it, it started squealing like mad anytime under 2000 rpms. But they just tightened it and no squealing since. They said its normal for the belts to stretch a little at first - I have the Bando belts that came with it.

We use the AFX pulleys on our Turbo Neon (10.55 @ 140) and RS Turbo Eclipse (11.71 @ 122). Both cars have had zero problems with this product.

A note: the smaller diameter of the AFX pulley (as compared to stock) will require slightly more belt tension than stock due to a smaller overall contact area with the belt(s). Re-tension the new belts after the first couple of days of use to accomodate the initial wear of the new belt and you should enjoy squeal-free use!

Got my AFX Pulley about a year ago and it worx great. Had a major squeaking problem when it was cold or raining. The belt was way too big, the bracket was tightened as far as you could go. I bought some Goodyear Gatorbacks for the Alternator belt and no squeaking, squeaks a little when it rains but I just put a tiny bit of belt dressing on. Bought it from Ptuning also.

Mine's been on for at least a month now, and no problems. Just make sure the belts are tensioned properly and you should be fine.

BTW I'm not a fan of belt dressing I think it dries out the belts.

One on the A/C compressor brackey and one on the alternator bracket. A/C is easy. the alternator on the other hand is a $^%$. you have to jack the car up and get to it form underneath, work by feel. Make sure you loosen the bolt on the bracket first.
