111701, Survey for AFX Underdrive Pulley users Posted by John99RS, Apr-09-01 09:38 AM How many of you guys/gals have or had squeaking problems with the belts that came with the pulley? If you changed the belts, which "BRAND" (and part #s if possible) did you end up getting? | |

But they just tightened it and no squealing since. They said its normal for the belts to stretch a little at first - I have the Bando belts that came with it. | |

Had a major squeaking problem when it was cold or raining. The belt was way too big, the bracket was tightened as far as you could go. I bought some Goodyear Gatorbacks for the Alternator belt and no squeaking, squeaks a little when it rains but I just put a tiny bit of belt dressing on. Bought it from Ptuning also. | |

A/C is easy. the alternator on the other hand is a $^%$. you have to jack the car up and get to it form underneath, work by feel. Make sure you loosen the bolt on the bracket first. | |
