im getting an apexi n1 exhaust for my rs. i was wondering if the gs-t model n1 would fit on my car because i know the piping for the gs-t mufler is a little bigger than the piping for the gs model exhaust. i have a turbo and a bunch of other stuff done to my car so i was wondering if it'd bolt right on to my car with no extra mods?

It should fit. The N1 is a bit pricey compared to the Tsudo brand that is nearly (if not) identical at a cheaper cost. It should be a welcoming upgrade to your application if you are turbo'd.

Hey I bought the Apexi World Sport Exhaust for a GST and it fit fine the main difference is where the exhaust meets the muffler section. *(removed for incorrect information)* The GSX Exhaust however WILL not Fit b/c the piping is totally different.

What?

That is wrong.

NT and GST goes above. Same exhaust, muffler is different.

Thats why you can BOLT ON a GST axle back to a RS/GS.

GSX however, you are correct on, it wont fit without modification.

There is no fucking difference!

Im telling you that NT and GST go OVER the axle. Period. Only part that is different is from the muffler to the tips.

GSX goes UNDER the axle, and is a bit shorter.

alright well right now im a bit pissed!! i got the apexi n1 for the gs-t and i have a rs turbocharged. so all the piping fits great, except for the mufler section that goes over the axle, doesnt come close enough at all to connect it to the rest of the exhaust!!! what should i do?? everyone said that the gst will bolt on just fine, but apparently its not. any suggestions??

Find out why it doesn't. "Everybody" is correct (I have had one on each of my cars). I can guess from here that you either have the wrong exhaust or your current exhaust is not a stock set-up and has been altered.

How big is the gap? If its just a few inches then you need help installin it, get someone to push the muffler forward towards the front of the car and see gap closes.

what do you guys mean "Over the axle"? From my understanding, the apexi n1 for the gst comes out in an angle due to it going under the rear cross member or "axle" how you guys call it. The gs version one might go over the cross member, but I am not sure.

So if you got the gst one it should fit pretty good, if you are having issues with it fitting, then make sure you got the right exhaust or have somebody help you put it on, like somebody else suggested earlier.

If you guys were talking about the tsudo n1, then never mind this post.

this will help clearing this up, it is a really short post, so read up...

Dude, dude, dude!!!! My "Apexi N-1 from E-Gay" goes over the rear ax...er crossmember. Both of them did (the NA one is gone, lol). Both were listed as GST versions.

You guys actually made me get up off my fat ass and look at mine. I knew it went over but from the conversation I had to look again, lol.

So I'm guessing that the E-Bay knock off may be different than the actual Apexi N1.

In one of Terry's posts he says that he has the 3inch apexi n1, and that it goes under the crossmember. The tsudo n1 that is sold on eBay goes over the rear crossmember. I have it, that's why I know, but the apexi doesn't (well I'm not sure about the gs one). In some websites it says that that exhaust goes under the rear crossmember (for the GST).

I wish I had blown it, believe me, I do...

And just because Tsudo doesn't equal Apexi, that doesn't make me wrong.

Yeah, I just checked my notes. I got the Tsudo (both 2 1/2" and 3") NOT the Apexi emoji

BUT they both have 5 letters.......
