I have a 1999 GS and, for some odd reason, I got a hole in my tranny. I heard a weird grinding sound for a while before it happened and didn't think it would turn out that i needed to buy another tranny. The hole looks like it came from outside the tranny. My dad thinks I tore a gear out, but I think it was the fluid I put in it( the stuff from AutoZone). I was just wanting to know what would have caused this. Thank you

I'm gonna have to say this
the area of the hole will give you an idea of what failed and popped out the trans.
Erik P. Official 2GNT thread Hijacker Some say that he's driven over more Covenant than he's shot, and that his grenades aren't where you'd expect them to be... All we know is, He's not The Stig... But he is The Stig's Spartan cousin!
