my timing belt tentioner pully took a crap on me and bent two valves.so i bought a good used head, but wont start now after install, geting no spark,i think it might be my timing.i also installed adjustable cam gears and underdrive pully.i set the timing by the manual, but read a post where a guy had same problem and had his 180 out of timing, because one dowel pin goes up and the other down.and i have both of mine up,thats how they went in,i just adjusted the marks where they lined up.so do i need to have one up and one down, and if so witch one goes up and which on goes down.if i did it that way the adjustment mark scale one one will be up and one will be down.is this correct.i have checked every thing else.all wiring is hooked up,sensors fine both crank and cam sensors are new, along with coil, plugs, wires,im getting gas and sometimes blue flame out of header when try to start .but not trying to fire, fuel pump kicks on,cell comes on.only thing im ify on is timming.ill post picks tomarrow dark and cold now.please help guys need to get venge on the road again.thanks guys

99% chance you're 180* out on at least one cam.

agreed, same thing as u were told on asec, your 180 deg off , and dont forget to degree those cam gears or youll cause major carnage to the head.. if i remeber correctly ,@ TDC exhaust pin is down, and intake is up? not 100% sure, but i think thtas right
