It's tough when you gotta listen on the computer but I don't hear any base sound like if it was rod rap. I suspected that at first but....kinda lots of treblish noise like it's in the bellhousing. You say you pulled the rod bearings and they were fine? No shavings when you pulled apart the tranny and block? It could be at the wrist pin area, but, again, usually more base type sound. Is it coming from the bellhousing area? Is anything hitting the flywheel/PP? It's a whole lot easier to listen to live. Why don't you stop over and I'll listen to it then Captain Caveman
