ok, i hear a small knock, small as in is hard to hear, its seems to be most noticable at the pass side near the UDP. i can barely hear it in the cabin, until i hit around 3k, but even then its not easy to hear, i cn probably hear it the best when its on its rev-down. so could it be a bearing thats going bad? I added oil, and it didnt fix it. i havent tken and hard rigth turns either. so i dont kno? wouldnt it be alot louder if it was a bearing? i didnt notice any performace lost. hg good as well as psi.

Generally, the rod knock gets worse as RPMs increase or engine load increases. It sounds like you might have slight rod knock, but the symptoms are kind of ambiguous. If you remove the oil pan and tap on each of the rod caps with a hammer, one of them should sound slightly different if a bearing is spun.

I thought I had rod knock, but it turns out I was just crazy. I replaced the old rod bearings anyway since I had already purchased new ones. The old ones came out perfectly fine.
I said "goodbye thought of rod knock, hello piston slap!"

Just kidding sometimes I get paranoid. Hell it sounds like one of my wheels is gonna fall of the Evo yet I can't find anything wrong and steering feels perfect, I'm at the point of wondering if it's just normal road noise for the tires.
