#101403, "Finished rebuild...Engine not running properly!! Need Help Please!!"
I have just finished my rebuild with the following:
Weisco 8.8:1 Eagle rods Crower stage 2 turbo grind cams Crower springs and retainers fidanza cam gears SPEC stage 3+ clutch SPEC alum. flywheel cometic head gasket PEP SS Valves
...the only thing not done basically is P&P head and intake, ignition and oversized valves.
Now here are the problems....
-Car idles like shit, sounds like i have big block cams in it. -Three CEL's -Rich condition detected (bank 1) -Barometric pressure something or other... -Coolant temp. sensor voltage is too high
Now, when i try to drive it...the car leans out to the 15's and 16's on the wideband. This happens right about/same time clutch begins to engage...but give it some gas and its fine. Also, the idile itself is lean. The computer is giving a rich fuel code, so could the computer trying to compensate and making it idile so lean?
And, the timing on everything is even and the cam gears are all set to 0. There is no exhaust piping after the 3" downpipe...that cuz im waiting for it to arrive. So, the rear O2 is just dangeling there but im not getting a code from it though. No sensors have been replaced or anything yet. So could anyone please help me out here. I'm sorry if there is another topic on this but i do not have the time right now to search and im running out of time. Im trying to have this run properly by this saturday for a show. Thank you all for any help.

You'll probably get an answer faster from searching, especially if you said u aren't willing to search no ones going to want to help you.

Search for the P-codes of the CELs you got. That will give you the answers, Time to start testing or replacing the sensors related to those codes...

It sounds like timing being off, to me. Did you degree-in the cams at all? Granted, the only thing I haven't done is install cam gears, so I can't say if there is any potential for error when installing the gears. Even so, it really sounds like timing being off to me.

I'm going to say it has to do with one of these...

I have a second MAP sensor so i will pop that in and see if anything changes. The last time i checked timing was dead-on but i will double check again. Thank you all for your help and keep any more ideas coming.
