Finally took the big step and had my ratty top replaced for my 97 Eclipse GST Spyder. Bottomline: Wynn's Auto Upholstery, 208 Luray St, Chesapeake VA 23323, Phone: 757-622-9838 (www.wynnsauto.com) was super at replacing the top and all the required weather stripping to turn my Spyder from ratty to "Raging!!!" Dealt with Mike and he charged me $1150 for the top and installation of the top and side weather strips. But...I had to provide the weather stripping. Big surprise there, to replace the strips (6 on the sides and I also replaced the strip across the top of the windshield) you'll see prices exceeding $700 (no labor). These were stock OEM strips...if you're lucky enough to find other stripping AND feel comfortable that you won't have leaks...knock yourself out. In addition, Mike's price didn't include the labor for replacing the windshield weather strip but he was very reasonable keeping the charge at "1 labor hour" ($68). Quality of the top he put on was first rate. No cheesy multi-folds around the back window...looked exactly like Mitsubishi stock equipment. It's too new to tell if there will be the infamous defrost issues...we'll see. Until then I'm a happy camper!
