i know that a 2001+ sohc neon 3.55 trans is preferd b/c its hydrolic, and a 95~96 neon soch 3.55 trans has a cable but i found a good deal on a 96 sohc trans:

(3.55) w/PG limited slip differential w/Diff pin welded $300

is the welded diff pin a good option to have?
and since it has a cable instead of hydrolic, can i change it to hydrolic or waht would i have to do to make this fit in my 420a 5spd?

i need to swap bell hosuings and speed sensor, what else? thank you

Read the writeup on the Wiki page to explain what you need to do.

The diff pin welded is just an option between that and safeing brackets.

upon reading it afin, it says my diff needs to come out, so if the pin is welded on to the PD LSD, can i still remove the LSD/diff from the 3.55?
