If my clutch goes in September, i'll likely be hitting you up for the biggest baddest 2GNT clutch you make. I seem to remember something about a VR6 pressure plate and a sintered iron disk?

That's right, the VR6 with a LWF. The TQ ratings are ridiculous,up into the high 700 ft lbs.

Hey everybody, remember to mention 2GNT if you want to order a clutch. This is exclusive and you won't get a discount if you forget.

I have a turbo 2.4L. All it makes it torque.

What's the cost on that, BTW? I think it was slipping at max boost in fourth the other day. It might be getting ready to asplode.

Is this a SRT4 or a 4G64 with added turbo?

neither. It's a Stratus block / 2GNT head hybrid. Runs a NV-T350 trans.

Stratus block, Stratus flywheel= Stratus pressure plate. I recommend a full Feramic clutch. You are looking at $350ish

No. I run a 2.0L flexplate, with a 2.0L flywheel, and a 2.0L clutch. I also run the same 2.0L transaxle.

If it works in a 2.0L 420A with a NV-T350 trans, it'll work on mine.

Trust me.

I still need to get my trans out. I may be doing that this coming weekend. At that point, i'll make a decision regarding the clutch. After that, i'll give you a ring and we'll talk.

If you are only driving on the street, go with the stage 1 rally or the stage 2 TZ. The TZ is a Kevlar lining with good performance and will last a very long time.

I'll be using it for street mostly with the occasional trip to the track. Its my daily driver and I dont think it'll prolly ever see over 300hp. So you think that stage 2 would be better? This is awesome timing btw.

The TZ is great for street use but a heat sensitive product when you go to the drag strip. It will make the first run perfectly but then it has to cool all the way down before you can make the next run (about 2 hours). At this point you might consider the OFE stage 3. It's the perfect street and strip combo.

I would also be intrested. The stocker has lasted for 125000 but I don't think it will last too much longer when I finish my custom stage II kit. All thats left is my custom downpipe and vaccume line. YES!

What's next up on the list after the OFE, megasquirt powered probably heading over the 300hp range. Freddy was saying how his OFE was slipping at 15+ psi on his big turbo, I didn't have any trouble with it at low boost...but I have since grenaded my tranny and it's now a $650 paperweight

A twin disc is required when the HP gets so high that the plate load required to handle the TQ gets too hard to push. At that point a second disc can be added and the clamp force of the presure plate can be reduced making the clutch easier to drive.
