Put the neon gearbox on your bellhousing. Then hook everything back up and you've done the swap.

Not if you have an 01 or newer trans. Chk your trans, the 01 had a hydraulic clutch I am pretty sure so there is no bellhousing swap. Just install it and enjoy.

IF you want a clear answer, get off your ass and do some research. Lean to search and read.

You do need to search and take a look at the trans you have. Takea look at the damn bellhousing. the 01 neon trans has a hydraulic setup just liek the link i posted. Are you telling me you doubt the comprehensive specs on the trans? Do what you want you obviously dont listen.
Originally posted by Dino Yes, the 2002 will bolt right up, the 2G Neons use a T350 with a hydralic clutch setup just like we do. Might still need to use the 2GNT shift select levers.
Which says that it'll bolt right up, and you'll use the 2gnt shift select levers. (the arms on the outside of the trans).
James had to swap the 3.55 ring gear to his diff because he had a PG LSD in it. You won't have to do that.
It's really that easy.
