If your motor mounts are good (you don't get wheel hop when spinning the tires). Than you just got a poor build. How much torque is your car putting out? You might need even a stronger axle.

i would swear poor casting.....that should not happen. I would expect the splines to break first if we were to point toward wheel hop. That roller takes abuse no matter what..just the nature of the beast.

Yeah, looks like you found the weak spot. I hate it when $#!t breaks when you're trying to have fun. My rear motor mount brace broke when I ignorantly dropped the clutch all night at the track. On the bright side, it gave me a reason to put in the motor mount inserts that have been sitting in my closet for months.
