i had problems with my car shaking alot, and making a grinding noise atfer like 3k rpms. so i took the tranny out, and when i took the clutch off, the little nub on the clutch side from the flywheel like. fell off. pics:





are these pressed on or something i can fix myself?

bust out the mig or just take it off imo. my spec stage 3 doesnt even have that little do-hicky

all that plate is designed to do is keep oil ect from getting into the clutch from the top of the trans (drippage). The little tabs on the outer edge....with a hammer bend them out just a little bit and tap the plate back into the recess. I have done it to mine...its not a big deal. if you choose to leave it off i am sure it will be fine.
