2848, this normal for a spec/any clutch? Posted by grain, May-27-04 03:50 AM i had problems with my car shaking alot, and making a grinding noise atfer like 3k rpms. so i took the tranny out, and when i took the clutch off, the little nub on the clutch side from the flywheel like. fell off. pics: | |

Posted by Star Turbo Talon, May-29-04 08:51 AM all that plate is designed to do is keep oil ect from getting into the clutch from the top of the trans (drippage). The little tabs on the outer edge....with a hammer bend them out just a little bit and tap the plate back into the recess. I have done it to mine...its not a big deal. if you choose to leave it off i am sure it will be fine. | |
