Exactly Ryan...i saw what hapened to you and i was like F$%^ it...im not upgrading my 604...but then i saw that the 606 internals (what you broke) were designed to be stronger (604 designed for level 1 torque ergo its 41te...606 is level 2 torque thats why its 42le..then again id love to have a500 level 4 torque/44re internals in there :evil)

BTW using the 604 diagram can you tell me which part # broke??

Im leaning on doing the 5 speed now cause although the upfront cost cause of labor might be high (well yes im doing a lot of it..but allways need help..and help costs me yah know....wished i was in socal emoji ) but its cheaper to buy new clutches and install em than to rebuild auto after auto (i calculate i would waste about 1 clutch every 6 months...conservatively....or else was gona buy second 670 and have it rebuilt ready to swap in if i blow it at the track cost for a rebuilt 670 is 600ish)....dont know of anyone exept Bill Hahn runing that much TQ through the 5 speed..seems he has no problems but he is a master at launching it (which i suck at launching stick, In other words i will kill a couple of clutches), BTW yes switching to the RWD trans is NO go (at least this year)

Man do i make anny sense???

See the clutch hubs in line C, 3343 and 3345?

the shaft on the end of the hub has a gear on it...well, i sheared the entire shaft off the hub, so now its just free spinning, caus it isnt connceted to the hub anymore.

I believe its the OD clutch hub is the one that i sheared off.

1st and 2nd are still fine, still grabs hard (i spin all of 1st and most of 2nd even still), but 3rd is nonexistint.

Ok this is good info...that means 1st and 2nd are prety strong...so i guess what you broke is the same peice as the 606 has..might just spend 600 bucks on those 1 year warranty trans on ebay hehehe..heck if it lasts me a year id be amazed

Or it means his turbo didn't spool up to full boost in 1st and 2nd gears. If he was only getting like 8-10lbs in the first two gears and then got like 16 in third, see where Im going, maybe thats how he killed third. Just a thought from an n/t guy.
