I've just about got the hang of driving stick shift, but am clueless as of how to launch. If someone would explain the steps I would greatly apreciated it. Thanks.

Pick a launch rpm, play with it and youll find a good one for your car andyour mods. It will change as your change yoru car's set-up.

Hold that rpm steady with the gas pedal.
start to slip the clutch out, as you do give it more gas holding that rpm, feather the throttle (make adjustments back and forth), as needed for traction.
Slip the clutch out at a pretty constant speed, while adjustign the gas as you launch. by the time the clutch is out you should be full on the gas (astraction permits of course).
You don't want too much wheel spin, definately don't want wheel hop. But you don't want to bog the engine either.
Just play with it, it takes time to get the feel.

or if you have a stock worn clutch on 164K like me, rev it up to about 3 grand, pop the clutch, mash the gas, and let that slipping son of a bitch do all the work emoji
