ok ALMOST done w/an audiobahn A6004T install, but ran into a TON of bumps, and i hope this is my last one...
I was drilling the amp in the location of my third choice when I screwed up 2 of the rubber grommets that prevent the metal screws from touchign the casing. The amp is screwed into some metal, but I hear alot of the cases are insulated now. Do i need these grommets? Would electrical tape around the feet, then screwing back through that work? Or is there somethign that will look a bit nicer/work a bit better? I know I didn't buy an expensive amp, but those grommets suck and I can't see how much they're doing as is anyways...

oh man that sucks! trust me though, every installer has theser problems. it took me 5 hours JUSt to find a spot in which to run power wire in a 99 acura TL. it took me 7 hours to get a simple brakcet off the factory headunit in a maxima (i ended up grinding it out if the headunit, lol. SPARKS!)
