k so i put in a power trunk release in my car. i still hafta run the wires up front an stuff though. i have a viper esp500 alarm installed in my car an there's an open channel that i can hook up to the trunk release. the output from the alarm on that channel is marked as (-) 200mA. does that just get hooked up straight to the relay? just wonderin if i had to do anything else inbetween. i know i hafta make sure the relay handles enough amperage for the trunk release solenoid and everything. anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Yes, that wire just goes to the relay. Here's how to wire up the relay if you didn't know already:

85 - negative trigger from alarm
86 - 12V +
87 - 12V +
30 - output to trunk release solenoid

Hope this helps!

Dont forget to fuse your 12 volt lead going to your relay. A 15 amp should be plenty.
