imo, that is a big job and needs to be done RIGHT. I know some people who have done the work themselves, and it looks good, but if you don't know what you're doing, pay to have it done right. This isn't just a minor thing, its a MAJOR project, so if you want to have it done 100% right w/ a warranty, pay to have it done. If you think you could pull it off, by all means go for it.
