Have a friend sit in the cab, pull/hold on the latch from the cab. Either go underneath between the radiator/bumper or lfit up on the hood while your buddy holds the latch from inside. If its similar to our gas tank lid this should work. I have similar problem with my gas lid but have after i had someone pull the tank lid while I pulled the lever from inside it popped open. Noticed the latch on tank lid was bent so I bent it back prob fixed.
