Ok, let's say for a second that the gauge is broken and it's running 19 PSI but reading 12. That's even worse. Not knowing how much boost you're running is 'Engine death: The Prologue'. On stock fuel etc, running more than stock boost +2 or 3 is asking for pain. I guess I believe you if you say it feels more powerful, but if the gauge reads 12, I'll go with 12 simply because I want to believe he's driving around a car that is well taken care of and not boost abused. FIX THE BOOST GAUGE!!! (or at least make sure it's working.)

LOL, I dunno what the deal is on it, but it's a really fun car to drive. He has like, $0 to spend on it... he spent all his money buying it. Can the stock turbo even put out 19 PSI? I have no experience with the 4G63. I did a valve cover gasket change on it and that's it. The dipstick likes to pop out and spill oil on the engine causing what looks like the engine to explode but it's just smoke from the burning oil, hahaha...
