Well I can't emphasize enough, do NOT vent. there are countless people and threads on tuners/talk/etc. where venting is shown to be just not worth it.As for the hesitiation, it could very easily be a lean condition, as too little fuel would cause knock which would pull back your timing considerably. Are you running an MBC? How much boost? Do you have an SAFC or pocketlogger? This info will help assess the problem as well.
