#5761, "pulled apart my first 4g trans"

I pulled apart my first 4g63 trans today. I must say i like the was mitsu designed them to come apart. Much easier to work on these on a work bench. The one i had picked up for internals (parts) hads a small home in the bellhousing by the diff, however shifted beautifully. I pulled it apart to find a junk diff that had one missing tooth on a spider gear. you guessed it, the small magnet my friend found in the bellhousing when it was dropped was not a magnet at all....

At any rate it will due for parts since the trans that crapped out has a good diff and casing. not bad for 100.00
