#5576, "Trany Question..."

Hey guys,

It's been a while and I really feel like a newb with this question but I want to ensure I get the right stuff, since I don't know anything about tranys.

My GS-T has 41k miles on it. My roommate who borrows the car just brought it in for a regular trany flush and the mechanic put generic fluid in after he flushed out the old "black" fluid.

Now I assume the wrong fluid was put in because it is quite hard to shift in any gear.

Did I do any damage with this generic yellow trany fluid? or can I just drain it and put in like BG Synchro Shift II fluid?

Any idea?

TIA

My 2gnt will forever be missed.....
