If you have your console upright and accidently bump it or something the laser burns a ring in the disc. In my case it was still playable I just couldn't load certain maps on COD4. Its a pretty easy fix if this has happened to anyone. There is a place in most Hollywood videos that have a game store that will buff out the ring for about 2 bucks. Its nice to have them do that rather than buy an entire new game.
