I don't know your driving posture, but if you drive with your hand at 12 o'clock, does your arm get annoyingly in the way of viewing gauge readouts (and what about gas and engine temp?)? I know mine did when I used to have a gauge cluster, at least on the left side it got annoying.. i sold it years back because of that very reason.
