Congratulations to ez for MOTM January (also the first of 2012!)!
Member: ez January 2012 Mod of the Month! Mod: Carbon Fiber Door Panels with power conversion. Why: Now I don't have to bring a passenger with me in order to roll down the passenger window on command.

Deadline will be January 18th.
I dropped the ball on this - but in 2012 it will be adhered to!
Please check the rules pinned at the top of The Pits.

I'm going to keep entering every month until all you guys join in.
Mod: Handmade gauge cluster

Reason for mod: Keeps aftermarket gauges off the a-pillar to avoid attracting attention, and places them in arguably the best location for driving.

holy hell man, loll. I don't know your driving posture, but if you drive with your hand at 12 o'clock, does your arm get annoyingly in the way of viewing gauge readouts (and what about gas and engine temp?)? I know mine did when I used to have a gauge cluster, at least on the left side it got annoying.. i sold it years back because of that very reason.

I've never driven with my hand on the 12 oclock. Nor do I lean to the side with my head out the window, or drive a raised truck with dirtbike stickers on the rear.

Haha I guess I should answer your questions instead of being a smartass. I can see the fuel and dummytemp gauges just fine - the camera is much closer to the steering wheel than where I sit so it throws off the perspective. I use a scangaugeII anyway for monitoring engine temps, as the dummy gauge is worthless.

Sparco's, I remember he did a thread about those long time ago. His usename is etched into the seat, looks cool.

There knock off Recaro's but there faded from the sun. I'm gonna redo them in suede or red..undecided at the moment.

Hey Josh, your "after" picture looks great, but should probably be the picture with the turbo setup. Just saying because "built and boosted motor" is your mod and your after picture is still your n/a motor :P
