sorry old thread but i figured i'd bring it up, my suspicions were confirmed, they're definitely cracking down on it.

6 months not a single incident (not pulled over once), January 2006, I've been pulled over 4 1/2 times. The half time was when the cop just pulled up beside me until I rolled my window down and yelled at me to take my tints off or I'd get a ticket. 3 times for tints (and 3 verbal warnings, I guess I'm good at playing dumb), and 1 speeding ticket (sigh, just a bad month for me).

I haven't taken them off because I'm in love with them and I'm probably selling the car soon, so I don't feel like doing it right now, not to mention it died the other day, had to buy a new fuel pump.... psh, thanks dsm

I think I might save up and buy a jetta, at least it probably won't break down on me every other week.


anyways....be careful, i think the cops are tryin to stock up their tickets early this year
